Mt. Yangbew
Mt. Yangbew, also known as the "Little Pulag" of Benguet, offers a straightforward yet rewarding hike. The trail is mostly open grassland with a gentle ascent, making it ideal for beginners. Along the way, you'll pass through rolling slopes with occasional pine trees. At the summit, you'll be greeted with a panoramic view of La Trinidad Valley, nearby mountain ranges, and even Mt. Sto. Tomas and Mt. Ugo on clear days. The open summit makes it a perfect spot for photos, picnics, or even horseback riding (depending on local availability).

Mt. Kalugong
After descending from Mt. Yangbew, a short ride or walk leads to the jump-off of Mt. Kalugong. The trail to Mt. Kalugong is slightly steeper but well-established, weaving through a mix of pine forest and rocky terrain. The highlight of this hike is the limestone rock formations at the summit, where you can climb onto rugged boulders for a stunning bird’s-eye view of La Trinidad and its famous strawberry farms. There's also a cozy café near the summit, perfect for a quick coffee break while enjoying the scenery.
